Day 10: Diamond in the Rough

My life is filled with people that I cannot truly live without. These people are more than just friends, family or acquaintances; they are a reflection of my life. When it comes to meeting the most special people, it’s always at a special moment. These people who shape my life are never found by accident. It is almost as though I am destined to meet them through the magnetic pull of life. The strange part of this is how strong that pull can be. There have been moments when I feel so connected to someone and maybe I have only just met them or haven’t even said a word to them yet.
In the last few years of my life I have found these diamonds to be just that – diamonds; they are one-of-a-kind, priceless, and irreplaceable. Without these people my life would not only be less amazing, but it would be empty. These diamonds in my life are the ones who manage to push me to be better, to laugh, to cry, and to work like there is no tomorrow.
Why then, am I so pulled in by these people from the start? Does intuition play that large of role in seeking ones future? All I can say from experience is that when I meet one of these “diamonds” it’s my perspective on life that immediately changes. These people are planted in my line, just as I am planted in theirs, to make sure life is all that it should be.
Remember the good times,
Julian
