Day 14: The High Life

PreviousNext

To further I walk back then further I stay back. “It’s just too much.” Much too much to munch on as I eat this right sized portion of life, or is it wrong? Going anywhere is the direction I need, anywhere with you; fast forwards, rewind, and pause is for cowards. This is a one way route to ‘one day’, take it or let it stay just remember that once it starts the flow is the only control.

Only once you live, letting go as you can’t control is the thing that you do when you’re living the high life. A life zoomed out as far as the eyes can’t see because we’re not looking at anything else – just another half of me. Another fall back as you usher in a new view, full of everything but darkness because today is our day to live the high life.

A smile that winds around the bend while betting that this is a night ascending. Climbing way too high to be up there, “That’s you” now it’s us, take a picture and zoom back in because it can’t be true – but it is. We’re living the High life.

Remember the good times,
Julian
