Day 22: Only smiles

Drifting not drowning with the white-capped waves beating on our backs. Snap back into your mind and come out untouched – you’re fine, hold on, a pulling water too much at times. Divided, we stand up because tomorrow’s hope will always be enough; a ride into the night – full moon bringing in the tide. Laughter and sand as our bed, looking up, you and I reliving every chapter, go ahead search the stars – are we happily ever after?
After every laugh a lack of air, never a lack of conviction, you’re breathing out and in only as a matter of fiction. Because facts are always what they to seem to be, a seam merely hidden in the clothing. Does it fit? Try again – no belt, it’s adjusting.
Calling it luck or fate can only be true if you don’t say, just do. Don’t lose what you want to fuse to your better side – ‘that’s me’. A new shade of green on the bright side of our tree is just what we need. Read above the letters and lines, that’s it, check the spaces and what you’ll find is a message of love that’s here to remind. A spark to rewind your memory back to the time, the sadness dripping away, that’s a good sign. Only smiles, now I can see your face, the present is left behind, tomorrow is left to chase.
Remember the good times,
Julian
