Day 23: No Sugar No Cream

PreviousNext

Look all around, once lost now found, woven in and laced down are the threads on the rope bound to your waist. You can’t fall there’s nothing to fear, now oceans apart, but I’ll always be ‘here’, your hand on your heart – “I’m only a mirror”. Front to rear, we’re spinning around, one old city – one new town, eyes full of color, no shades of brown.

Sitting in the shade of our tree, the one thing we need – tell me that you agree. Agree that, “I wish i could be there”, sharing a laugh, two born together, one perfect pair. Now in the Apple, it’s tough to call home, there’s my old desk, there’s my old phone; but home is awake under our blanket, weeping from laughter awaking to a banquet.

Eat up, begin, let’s start, I think you’re late, it’s time to depart. Arriving to this life is more than a dream, no sugar no cream, because you’re sweet enough on your own, the red touch of grenadine. Drink up to us, entrust that now and forever is protected – no rust, just promise that we’ll always be a must, part of your life everyday, someone to trust.

Remember the good times,
Julian
