Day 30: Live for the Fall

PreviousNext

Eyes wide shut as I lay here, can’t wake up since I never dreamed tonight. Bright eyes beaming through a darkness, regardless of fear and hate living half heartless. Right and wrong at the root, as it loops growing stronger now tightened and grouped.

Flashbacks of setbacks and abstract ways of thinking, sinking slowly deeper in my mind. Heading back to the days of looking out – eyes glazed – and never saying never to standing up, chin raised.

Today’s a new chance – another phase, a time to be bold, a time to be brave. Wake up and get of hold of that smile, a fresh face to replace the old one stuck on for a while. Now is the time to dream like a child, let your imagination go free, roaming the wild. Piled high is a wall, begin the climb and live for the fall, today is the day to grow – soon you’ll fly, but first you must crawl.

Remember the good times,
Julian
