Day 37: Dream Cancer

Along this steady path I walk, slowly turning as I talk to my inner voice always making this choice to go on. Through another dim-lit room, old gallows hiding in the sleepless shadows of nights struggling with wrongs above rights. Left to dry hanging while scratching and banging on the door to the next room – trying to breath. Deeply in and deeply out, air growing thinner thickening the doubt; only a whisper when reaching to shout – “I..”
CAN go on and will live for the light at the dawn of tomorrow. Wipe off the sadness and pour out the sorrow, because hope is the answer to this dream cancer so drink up and swallow. Filling my core once hollow, now full of you as I follow the voice to the end of this hall ready to start. I will wait here until it begins again, “I” is not enough, living life on this circle around the dreams of us.
Remember the good times,
Julian
